Moose hunting in Finland

Moose hunting with dogs in deep forest area in beautiful landscape of middle Finland. There is 2 ways to hunt, individual hunting with dogs when we let several well trained dogs out to find the moose. When dog finds the moose it tries to keep it on foot by barking. Then hunter tries to sneak close enough to get the lethal shot. Sounds easy but it really is the most demanding and very memorable way to hunt moose. Other way is driven hunting for groups. We use the same dogs and if the moose stays on foot dog hander tries to push animals towards the hunters. Hunting starts early morning after breakfast, lunch we eat in forest. After the hunting day at the lodge will be food ready and after that some relaxing and finnish sauna offcourse. We also can arrange grouse hunting or forest rabbit hunting when needed.

Caza de alces con perros en una zona de bosque profundo, en un hermoso paisaje del centro de Finlandia. Hay 2 formas de cazar, la caza individual con perros en la que se sale con varios perros bien entrenados a buscar al alce y  cuando el perro encuentra al alce, trata de mantenerlo de pie ladrando estático y a continuación el cazador intenta acercarse lo suficiente como para poder realizar un disparo letal. Suena fácil, pero realmente es la forma más exigente y memorable de cazar alces.
Otra forma es la caza en grupo. Usamos los mismos perros y si el alce se queda parado, el batidor intenta empujar a los animales hacia los cazadores. La caza comienza más temprano por la mañana y después del desayuno. El almuerzo se hace en el bosque y después del día de caza en el albergue, estará lista la cena y después de eso para rematar, una relajante sauna finlandesa fuera de curso.
También se puede organizar la caza de urogallos o conejos de bosque cuando sea necesario.
