The hunting of red deer in our state hunting areas in northeastern Bulgaria is very exciting and intense. The deer population throughout the region is truly impressive. The hunting takes place 100% in the wild and exclusively in freedom. Here are the best red deer hunting areas in Bulgaria, which are undoubtedly among the best in Europe. This is confirmed by our guests, many of whom are experienced hunters and frequent travelers. Names like Cherni Lom, Voden, Palamara, and Sherba are already well known.
The terrain in this area is predominantly flat or rolling. Forests alternate with large agricultural fields of corn and cereals. To the south, the region borders the Balkan mountain range, where the terrain becomes more mountainous, although at low altitude. The altitude varies from 15 meters above sea level next to the Danube River in the north to 900 meters in the south.
