Driven Hunt in El Casco
Cumbres de San Bartolomé, Huelva, España
Driven Hunt at El Casco. In the northern part of the Natural Park of Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche and within the municipality of the Huelva town of Encinasola, we find this characteristic finca recognizable for containing at its summit the ruins of the Castillo de de Torres. As its name indicates, there are three mountain formations in the middle of a dehesa, with a dense thicket on its crests and rockrose butterflies among the oaks, making it an ideal place for wild boars and deer to roam freely inside. Crossed from one end to the other by the Dehesa stream in the Oya ravine that flows into the Murtiga, it has abundant water throughout the year, which excites the wild boars that can bury their snouts at any time. Its stands are all natural with medium shooting lanes, quite comfortable, with shots among the rockrose butterflies between the oaks. Without a doubt, it is a mixed driven hunt to enjoy this modality, practiced in the most traditional way.
