Driven Hunt in El Morrón de Cotarro
San Vicente de Alcántara, Badajoz, España
Driven Hunt at Morrón de Cotarro. Inherently a pigsty and renowned in the area, the eucalyptus patch of Morrón de Cotarro is undoubtedly one of the most coveted and beloved in the Badajoz locality of San Vicente de Alcántara. Traditionally a driven hunt, it consists of a dehesa of oaks and a hillside of eucalyptus where, as its name suggests, there is a morrón where wild boars and deer like to take refuge from the danger of man. All its stands are natural, most of them spacious and comfortable, and there are also stands of the cutting type that are much shorter and more intuitive. It is a mixed driven hunt to consider in the hunting calendar.
