Moose hunting with dogs in deep forest area in beautiful landscape of middle Finland. There is 2 ways to hunt, individual hunting with dogs when we let several well trained dogs out to find the moose. When dog finds the moose it tries to keep it on foot by barking. Then hunter tries to sneak close enough to get the lethal shot. Sounds easy but it really is the most demanding and very memorable way to hunt moose. Other way is driven hunting for groups. We use the same dogs and if the moose stays on foot dog hander tries to push animals towards the hunters. Hunting starts early morning after breakfast, lunch we eat in forest. After the hunting day at the lodge will be food ready and after that some relaxing and finnish sauna offcourse. We also can arrange grouse hunting or forest rabbit hunting when needed.

There are 2 ways to hunt, Stalking with dogs where we go out with several well-trained dogs to search for the moose and when the dog finds the moose, it tries to keep it standing by barking and then the hunter tries to get close enough to take a lethal shot. It sounds easy, but it really is the most demanding and memorable way to hunt moose.
Another way is Driven Hunt in groups. We use the same dogs and if the moose stays still, the dog handler tries to push the animals towards the hunters. Hunting starts early in the morning after breakfast. Lunch is eaten in the forest and after the hunting day at the lodge, dinner will be ready and after that, to top it off, a relaxing Finnish sauna of course.
We can also arrange grouse hunting or forest rabbit hunting when needed.
