Stalking of arruí from 55 to 65 cm

The stalking of male arruí is one of the most beautiful, as it is very striking due to the corpulence they have and the long beards of the large males and the big herds that can be found. Although males can be taken down starting from 55 cm of antler, the ideal is to do so when they exceed 60 cm, their weight will be around 70–120 kilos, reaching up to 160 kilos for the large males. The best time for their harvest is when they are in heat, between November and December, although the heat period may advance or delay depending on the rains and the cold, but it is when they are best seen and when the large males show themselves. Since they are hunted in open estates, where the arruí is found in its habitat among ravines, gorges, and large stretches of terrain, very good males have been spotted, but it is not guaranteed to take medals, although by the end of the season some medal-worthy ones may be taken.
