Driven Hunt in El Hontanar – Andújar (Jaén)
The estate of El Hontanar, located in the municipality of Andújar (Jaén), returns this season to the driven hunt program after several years of absence, following the magnificent memory left by the last day held in this emblematic hunting ground.
This is an open area belonging to the prestigious hunting ground of El Risquillo, situated in the heart of the Sierra de Andújar, one of the most recognized hunting enclaves in Spain. Its privileged location, bordering renowned estates such as Sardina, La Torrecilla, and Navaltorno, makes this driven hunt a highly interesting event for any enthusiast.
The day will be held with a very limited number of stands, which are expected to not exceed 20, allowing for hunting the estate with low hunting pressure and offering each hunter numerous opportunities for shots.
The expectations are very high, estimating a population of between 50 and 60 animals, an extraordinary figure for such a small group of hunters. The high density of deer and wild boars guarantees a dynamic hunt, with continuous runs and exciting shots throughout the day.
All stands will be strategically located, offering maximum safety and taking advantage of the main feeding areas and natural paths of the game to increase the chances of success.
The combination of a well-known prestigious estate, a limited number of stands, and the enormous hunting potential of the Sierra de Andújar makes El Hontanar one of the most attractive driven hunts of the season.
Without a doubt, a magnificent opportunity to once again enjoy a true open driven hunt, in an incomparable setting and with excellent expectations for lovers of deer and wild boars.
