Maitengwe - Botswana:
Recommended Hunting Period: April - June and August - September. August is better
Elephant hunting in stalking and using small planes or helicopters to locate the elephants in the Maitengwe area, bordering Botswana.
Prices per hunter:
- Daily rate for 15 days of hunting: $36,000
- Small plane: $1,200/hour
- Harvest fees:
- <44 pounds: $30,000
- 50-59 pounds: $32,000
- 60-69 pounds: $35,500
- 70-79 pounds: $38,000
- >80 pounds: $41,000
All harvest fees will have an additional +4% for CITES.
Gonarezhou Park - Botswana:
Recommended Hunting Period: March - April
Elephant hunting within 32 km of the border with Botswana. Hunting on foot, stalking the elephants and walking an average of 5-6 km per day.
This area has the largest elephants, with the possibility of finding elephants over 55 pounds.
Prices per hunter:
- Daily rate for 15 days of hunting: $31,000
- Harvest fees:
- <44 pounds: $25,500
- 50-59 pounds: $27,500
- 60-69 pounds: $31,000
- 70-79 pounds: $33,000
- >80 pounds: $36,000
All harvest fees will have an additional +4% for CITES.
