Driven Hunt in Los Lapones-Ballesteros. The area of Los Lapones has two small hills with oak and cork trees and a tough patch of rockroses and scree, complemented by the Ballesteros part, which is a dehesa with broom and some scattered rockroses to complete a very charming open driven hunt where the true protagonists are usually the mouflons and wild boars, with some cattle also appearing. Hunting is typically done with no more than forty-five stands, all of them natural, with rather short shooting distances, all situated in a completely safe manner in the usual paths of the cattle, to prevent their escape from the area. The hunt has a quota of one deer and one mouflon, with wild boars being free, and it usually offers a very entertaining day.
