Precioso coto en la provincia de Guadalajara, tiene entorno a 15.000 hectáreas, con gran diversidad de vegetación, desde inmensos pinares, sabinares centenarios, hasta frondosos robledales y encinares, respecto a la altitud media de dichos cotos es sobre 1.200 metros sobre el nivel del mar, la climatología es muy fría en invierno y templada en verano, con bastante precipitación. Tiene una gran densidad de hembras de cierva, gama y corza por lo que es necesario hacer cierta gestión de estas especies.
