With the arrival of cold weather, the stalks of Spanish ibex or Iberian goat are the main attraction. It is precisely during this time between the months of November and January when this animal goes into heat, and therefore, when more specimens can be seen and better trophies obtained, its population extends across very diverse mountain areas.

The stalking of Spanish ibex or Iberian goat requires the hunter to have certain techniques to enjoy the hunting day and consequently achieve a good specimen. A good specimen is considered one that is over ten years old.

Primarily, it is recommended to have patience for stealthy observation, knowledge of the species, terrain, and good physical condition, as you need to follow the animal in its own habitat.
