Stalking of trophy red deer in France on a estate with a family castle from the 13th century featuring some of the most impressive species we can find in France. The estate is located near Pradinas.
The red deer (Cervus elaphus germanicus) is the most magnificent animal of the French forests, hunted by the kings of France. It represents THE hunting trophy. The rutting period lasts for a month starting from mid-September. Our trophies are the result of many years of genetic selection among the best European populations. Some of the best French trophies originate from Laplanque. The antlers of the red deer are particularly large and have many tines. The Spanish red deer (Cervus elaphus hispanicus) is smaller and has smaller antlers than the French red deer.
