Driven Hunt in Bordalo

Driven Hunt in Bordalo. We again mention a hunting event in Herrera de Alcántara, a finca located in the area of the Tajo Internacional Natural Park, with a great tradition of driven hunts and magnificent results in terms of quality and quantity of deer. It is a dehesa with small streams over the stream of las Tomasas, covering approximately twelve hundred hectares, all of oaks with tight patches of rockroses, scrub oaks, and holm oaks. Hunting is usually done with between twelve and fifteen of the most advanced packs, and approximately seventy positions are set up, all natural with various shooting lines, some at the edge in the area of the streams, others shorter like firebreaks along the paths of the crossbeams, and the majority of medium type quite comfortable. Normally, hunting is done with a quota of two deer per hunter and free wild boar. Good results are always obtained, offering an entertaining day of big game hunting.
