Driven Hunt in Las Zarzas. Andalucía is undoubtedly one of the autonomous communities of our peninsula where the most driven hunts take place during the hunting season, with emblematic areas within this modality, and although practically all of it allows for big game hunting, Córdoba, Huelva, Sevilla, and Jaén are the leaders when it comes to driven hunts. On this occasion, one must travel to Sevilla to enjoy a day where the wild boar will be the protagonist. Las Zarzas, as its name indicates, is a property with rugged topography, with ravines dominated by this flora, called in other places brambles, thickets, or hedges, which are so favored by the cunning wild boar for their bedding. The area to be hunted covers four hundred hectares with fifteen packs that will strive to drive the wild boars out of their cover to push them towards one of the fifty designated stands. These are natural stands, situated comfortably and safely where hunters will go without a quota, being able to freely take all the wild boars that pass through their positions.
