Driven Hunt at El Palancar. Once again, one must travel to Soria if one wishes to enjoy this mixed hunt of deer and wild boar on a property located near the town of Burgo de Osma. With rugged topography and sinuous undulations, featuring low scrub of kermes oak and strong formations of olive trees, it is a property that spans about a thousand hectares where wild boars and deer like to take refuge. Normally, hunting is done with ten or twelve of the best packs in the area, which drive deer and wild boars towards the stands. To close the hunting area, about fifty positions are marked, all natural, with various shooting lines depending on the situation within the hunt, most with fairly comfortable and safe medium shooting lines. Hunters will go without a quota for deer and wild boar on a day where the stag takes quite a leading role.
