Driven Hunt in Los Palancares – Burgo de Osma, Soria

Once again, one must travel to the province of Soria to enjoy an attractive mixed driven hunt of red deer and wild boar at the estate of Los Palancares, located near the town of Burgo de Osma.

This beautiful estate has approximately 1,000 hectares of land characterized by steep topography, winding undulations, and a Mediterranean forest dominated by kermes oaks, wild olives, and dense refuge areas where deer and wild boars find an ideal habitat to thrive.

This is the second driven hunt of the season at this estate, a highly anticipated event for enthusiasts due to the good results it usually offers and the prominence that the stag typically acquires during the day.

The hunt will be held with 10 or 12 of the best packs in the area, responsible for driving the game towards the various stands. To close the area, around 50 positions will be set up, all of them natural and strategically located over the deer’s preferences and escape routes.

The shooting spots will vary according to the location of each stand within the hunt, with medium-type positions predominating, comfortable and safe, allowing full enjoyment of each shot.

The hunters will attend without a quota for deer or wild boars, being able to freely take both species in a day where the red deer usually has a special prominence, not forgetting the numerous opportunities on wild boars that this extensive Sorian area offers.

Without a doubt, a magnificent opportunity to enjoy an authentic open driven hunt in one of the areas with the greatest hunting tradition in Soria.

Gustame: La zona el puesto que me tocó era bueno . Que no me gusto: Moneria aburrida sin animales no se pego ni un tiro yo por lo menos . Que mejoras : Que en la comida por lo menos te den a elegir con un par de platos que fuimos mucha gente y plato único tanto el primero como el segundo . Gracias .
