Driven Hunt in Los Hocinos – Soria
The estate of Los Hocinos will host an exciting driven hunt for red deer and wild boar in one of the areas with the greatest hunting tradition in the province of Soria, a territory known for the quality of its driven hunts and the abundance of big game.
The day will take place over approximately 1,500 hectares of characteristic mountain terrain, where lentisks, holm oaks, and dense scrub provide shelter for a significant population of wild boars and deer. A demanding and highly favored terrain for hunting, ideal for enjoying an authentic traditional driven hunt.
To move the sound, 10 of the best packs in the area will be used, responsible for flushing out the elusive wild boars from their bedding and driving them towards the various stands.
The driven hunt will have 50 positions, all of them natural and carefully studied to ensure maximum safety between stands and to take advantage of the main favored areas and escape routes of the game.
Hunters will attend without a quota for deer or wild boars, on a day where the true protagonist is usually the wild boar. However, when a deer does make an appearance, it tends to be specimens of notable quality, adding an extra attraction to this already exciting driven hunt.
The combination of a large expanse of land, excellent packs, and a significant presence of game makes Los Hocinos a very interesting destination for fans of open driven hunting.
