Driven Hunt in Corrales
Encinasola, Huelva, España
Driven Hunt in Corrales. We are talking about a farm located between the Huelva municipalities of La Nava and Encinasola, specifically on the winding road that connects both towns in the northern part of the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche Natural Park. It is an area of mountainous formation with oak and cork oak trees and a low scrub of rockroses, dwarf oaks, strawberry trees, and holm oaks that leads to a dehesa with an immense oak forest. It is a tough area to hunt due to the density of its rockroses mixed with needles, where dogs are used extensively to move the wild boars, which is why it is usually hunted with more than twenty packs from the top hunters in the area. There are various shooting positions, comfortable and spacious ones in the dehesa, and much shorter as one ascends in the location within the hunting map, becoming very short, closed, and intuitive, but at the same time preferred and effective for those already occupying a position deep within the area. It is a very reliable farm that never disappoints and where high-quality animals have always been taken. It borders La Breña, Los Bailones, or El Casco, constituting an unbeatable location where game and wild boars find refuge and food. It is a safe bet for those who enjoy hunting in the traditional way with traditional values, mixed and open hunts.
